Sugartree Ministries

When we first started this ministry, it was to reach the unloved of this world. We continue to reach out to the sinner, the lonely, the hurting, the homeless, the addicted, the abused, and even to those who take advantage of the system.

We have been called by the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus, to feed, clothe and comfort all of God's children. In addition, we will pray with and for them, and show them Jesus through our love. We are a foot washing ministry made up of many denominations, ages, races and cultures with one purpose to bring Jesus to a broken world.

We never blast people with the Gospel, but many have come to know Jesus. We have seen miracle after miracle, yet we do not follow signs and wonders. Love is the root and the fruit of this ministry. Jesus is our source of nourishment, our reason to live, and the only purpose of this ministry. He is the One who has taught us by example to love without condition or measure. He also asked us to forgive 70 times 7.

When people used Jesus, the apostles asked the Lord if they could send them away, but Jesus responded with love and hospitality. Although it is hard not to question the motives of some of our guests, we must remember that Jesus was radical in His love; we are called to follow His example.

We have seen God transform many individuals. We have seen people who eat at the diner be transformed from isolated individuals to a loving, caring family. Divisions of race and class have been dissolved. We will continue to dine with them and pray with them, just as Jesus did.

Please join us in doing God's work that is, looking after each other and loving one another.
